| The
Southeast Nebraska Amateur Radio Club (SENRC) was first founded in 1936.
The club had a noted influence in Nebraska during the Golden Days of amateur
radio. Today, after all of these years, the club is still in existence.
The meetings had been combined into an annual fall picnic, but have now
been expanded to twice a year - a springtime Saturday breakfast in April
and an autumn potluck picnic with hopefully more expansion to come.
The springtime breakfast meeting
held the first Saturday in April after tax day is a perfect springtime
drive with the leaves popping out.
The autumn potluck is held the last
Sarturday in September at Coryell Park. For those that don't know, Coryell
park is NW of Auburn, and NE of Johnson, Nebraska.
With the leaves beginning to change,
the autumn season is colorful and perfect for a 'ham' get together. See
you on 146.52 MHz simplex beforehand. Make sure to read the meeting >notes<.
